Ella Bright is addressing concerns over her age gap with her Off Campus co-star.
In the steamy hit Prime Video series, the British-American actress, who is 19 years old, stars as Hannah Wells, a college student who fakes a relationship with the school's star hockey player in order to make a musician she has a crush on jealous.
Said hockey player, Garrett Graham, with whom Hannah has several intimate scenes, is played by Belmont Cameli, who is 28 years old, leaving some questioning the casting.
© Getty ImagesElla however, speaking on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, maintained she felt completely safe and secure on set, even if she was 18 when she filmed the series.
Noting people's shock at learning her age was "funny," she explained: "I came into this job and during the chemistry reads with more than enough information and knowledge and understanding of what this role required and the show."
She emphasized: "I just fell in love with Hannah and these scripts immediately. There was never a question that I wouldn't want to do this."
© Prime"I get people's concern, but also not once did I feel, one, left out from being younger than everybody," Ella further shared, maintaining: "We're all such a family and everyone was just more than perfect, and I couldn't be more comfortable on this set with these people."
Ella also opened up about the nudity in the series, and why her character only had scenes with partial nudity, whereas her on-screen best friend Mika Abdalla's character Allie Hayes had scenes with full nudity.
"That was always from the beginning, the idea all [of] Hannah's auditioning knew it was just going to be partial and for Allie it was going to be full, so everyone had full understanding of what we were going into," she said, noting Allie has "this amazing confidence about her and she is so free with her body and sex is just such an important part of her life."

Ella is originally from New York City, but she grew up in North London, raised by a dad from Oklahoma and a mom from California.

Off Campus, which is now streaming on Prime Video, is based on a five-book series by Elle Kennedy set in the fictional Briar University. In addition to Ella, Mika and Belmont, it also stars Josh Heuston, Antonio Cipriano, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Stephen Kalyn, and Steve Howey, among others.
