The Swedish star, 68, found love for the second time in 2023 when he tied the knot with the Norwegian Emma Krokdal, and the two have been happily married ever since.
The pair have been together for seven years now, and it looks like their romance is still just as strong as when it first began. Here's all you need to know about Dolph's second wife Emma…
Emma, 29, moved to California from Norway at a young age, and while she initially held aspirations of working in the entertainment industry, specifically theater, she eventually ended up as a personal trainer upon moving to Los Angeles.
"I loved acting when I was younger," she told Muscle & Health. "I used to do a lot of theater and it was my dream to become an actress as a child, but when I got a bit older I just got into the fitness industry and that's what took me to LA."
Speaking with Graham Bensinger in 2023, the Rocky star explained that he met Emma at an Equinox in West Hollywood. The couple have been dating since at least 2019.
"I was looking for the boxing room, and I just grabbed somebody who was going up the stairs. She looked like a trainer, and I said, 'Hey excuse me, where's the boxing room?'" he remembered. "She turned around and it was like, 'Oh [expletive].' It was one of those flashes where you go, 'Uh-oh.'"
The sparks didn't fly immediately on both ends, however, as they ended up starting off as friends before a romance blossomed. "I didn't know why she liked me at all, but I suppose she saw something there," he quipped. "She didn't know about my acting career, she didn't know anything about me."
At first, the age gap proved to be a challenge for not just Dolph, but also his two daughters. From 1994 to 2011, he was married to Anette Qviberg, welcoming daughters Ida, 30, and Greta, 24, with her. Ida is less than three months older than Emma.
"Obviously the age thing was a bit weird, especially when we started hanging out in the beginning," Ida noted in the same Graham Bensinger interview. "After that, everything was chill."
Dolph also acknowledged: "The age difference is quite severe. But I'm lucky in one way, because I'm in show business, I deal with young people all the time, I work out. I don't feel that old," also branding Emma "mature" for her age.
After announcing their engagement in 2020, the pair tied the knot in 2023 at their home in Mykonos, Greece. In 2024, the couple also became naturalized US citizens. And they're now not only spouses, but also professional partners.
In 2020, the couple started their own vodka brand, Hard Cut Vodka. "It's been 6 years of creating our vodka, designing the bottle, coming with up the name and the brand identity," their website reads. "Emma and I have been working together on this every day for all these years now – and I believe that's why people feel the love and authenticity when they try Hard Cut."
And Emma also puts her PT skills to good use, working as Dolph's trainer on movie sets. "I am getting a close look at movie production," she told Muscle & Health. "Sometimes Dolph and I work on scripts together."
