Congratulations are in order for Dua Lipa and Callum Turner, who tied the knot with a private ceremony in London the morning of Sunday, May 31.
The couple have been together since January 2024, after meeting by chance at a cafe, although they didn't go public with their relationship until that July. A year later, Dua confirmed in an interview that she and Callum were engaged.
While reports still suggest the couple will have a more lavish ceremony in Italy the weekend after their intimate nuptials, they've already cemented themselves as one of the hottest, and most private, of celebrity couples.
The English singer is active on social media, but her Bond-favorite husband is quite private about his personal life. As such, many fans were surprised to learn that Dua isn't the only English beauty he's been in a romance with.
Vanessa Kirby is an actress, who made her first foray into acting with stage work and bit parts on screen in the early 2010s. In 2015, she made her breakthrough when she was cast as Princess Margaret in Netflix's The Crown, which won her a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress in 2018.
She made her debut in the Mission: Impossible franchise in 2018 (reprising her role in 2023's Dead Reckoning), and in 2020, she starred in the melodrama Pieces of a Woman. Her performance received massive critical acclaim, winning her the Volpi Cup for Best Actress and earning her nominations for the BAFTA, Golden Globe, Actor (formerly SAG), and Academy Awards.
She has since also starred in The Son (2022), Napoleon (2023), The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025), and will next appear in Avengers: Doomsday.
Callum met Vanessa in 2014 when they starred together in the British period drama Queen and Country, playing siblings Bill and Dawn Rohan. They started dating in 2015, but kept their romance private, so much so that when photos of Vanessa kissing Tom Cruise emerged from the set of Mission: Impossible in 2017, she had to come clean about her own relationship to dispel rumors.
"Even though the [film] crew were there, it was all [in the tabloids] like, 'The next wife falls at his feet,'" she said to Marie Claire. "The most disconcerting thing was the people I didn't think would believe it, did, and they were texting my boyfriend, asking, 'Are you OK?'"
"I don't think they believe anything they read now because you just can't. None of it is real. To be getting married to him? Not even a snog, it was marriage."
Vanessa further emphasized that they deeply value privacy in their relationship. "I keep my relationship super private," she noted. "[Callum's] just completely wonderful and he's my best friend, so that's…I guess you can either choose to talk about it or not. If you talk about it, it becomes interesting to people, but if you don't, then it's not."
In early 2020, a rep for Vanessa confirmed that the couple had split up after nearly five years together. While no official reason was ever given, reports at the time cited their respective booming careers making it harder to stay connected.
While Callum is now married to Dua, Vanessa has found love of her own as well. In 2022, she began a romance with former American lacrosse player and Premier Lacrosse League President Paul Rabil. The couple got engaged in 2024.
In May 2025, the couple revealed that they were expecting their first child together, welcoming their little one in November (whose name and gender they are yet to reveal).
