While many of her celebrity peers have attempted to turn back the clock with a facelift, Cindy Crawford's husband won't be encouraging her to do the same.
The supermodel, 60, revealed that her husband, Rande Gerber, is "very against" her going under the knife, and prefers his wife just the way she is.
"I feel lucky that my husband is very, very against it," she said on the podcast Gloss Angeles when asked about cosmetic surgery.
Sharing Rande's three-word response to her thoughts on a facelift, she said: "He's like, 'You look beautiful,'" adding: "He doesn't even like makeup. He prefers me to wear no makeup."
Cindy admitted that she has to "remind" herself against the procedure when she sees the results of friends like Kris Jenner, who had her second facelift in August 2025.
"Then I'll be like, 'But she looks so good.' And then I'm like, 'Okay, wait, remind myself…' Everyone got inundated last year with Kris Jenner's [facelift], right? And I'm friendly with Kris; she looks amazing."
Cindy continued: "I have kind of a pact with a friend of mine who's a makeup artist. Her name is Sonia Kashuk. She used to have a big line at Target. She's one of my oldest friends, and we're like, 'We're not doing it right? We're not doing it.'"
While she may be trying to talk herself out of plastic surgery, Cindy clarified: "I've definitely tried some of the lasers or PRP and that kind of stuff."
She added: "Is there a 'right' age for [the procedure]? I mean, certainly not 20, I'll tell you that much. I even tell people don't color your hair until you have to... You really don't need anything 'til you're at least 40."
Sharing her advice to younger women, Cindy noted: "Push everything as late as you can because you're going to be tied to it then. The whole thing about female empowerment is doing what makes you feel good."
Marriage
Cindy and Rande celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary on May 29, 2026. The couple exchanged vows in 1998 in an intimate ceremony at the Ocean Club on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
To match the low-key event, the model chose an unconventional mini wedding dress with delicate straps and lace detailing from John Galliano, alongside a small bouquet of white flowers, bare feet and tousled hair.
Cindy explained the reason she swerved the traditional big white wedding dress and glamorous beauty look in her 2015 book, Becoming. "I wanted to look like the best version of the girl Rande loves waking up to every morning," she wrote.
"Rather than have my dad walk me down the aisle and give me away, Rande and I chose to walk each other down the stairs that led to the beach and the ceremony."
She described it as the "picture-perfect wedding" and added: "I would do it all over again in a second."
Just one year after they exchanged vows, Cindy and Rande welcomed their son, Presley, now 26, and their daughter, Kaia in 2001, now 24.
