Jennifer Lopez is entering a new chapter as her children graduate high school and move onto the next phase of their education.
The multi-talented star was overcome with emotion at her son, Max's, graduation, where she was seen wiping away tears.
In the video above, Jennifer looked radiant in a floral dress and high heels.
She pulled Max in for a hug, showcasing how proud she is of his achievements.
Max was all smiles posing for photos with his mom, his twin, Emme — who now goes by Oskar — and other family members, including his grandmother.
Despite the tears, it looked like an upbeat occasion as they celebrated the end of his schooling.
Going their separate ways
It's been an emotional time for Jennifer who celebrated Oskar's graduation on May 28.
In a March post shared by an Instagram account that tracks the college decisions of graduating Windward seniors, Jennifer's child was named as Oskar Muñiz and revealed that they plan to begin college to study theater and studio arts this fall.
Jennifer recently discussed her looming empty nester status during an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Empty nest
After host Kelly Clarkson asked Jennifer, 56, how she was dealing with her twins' high school graduation. "It's hard, it's a hard and emotional time," the mom said as she held back tears, adding: "It's a lot of mixed feelings."
"You want them to get out there and have a great time," Jennifer continued. "They're waiting to start their lives."
Max and Oskar, who graduated high school in May, decided to go in different directions and attend separate colleges. Oskar is headed to Sarah Lawrence College in New York, and while Max hasn't revealed his college choice, his mom is full of emotion about his next chapter.
"I remember how exciting that time [in my life] was for me," Jennifer shared. "But I also feel like they're leaving home in a couple of months and won't be back. [It just feels like] the house falling on your chest."
