Kyra Sedgwick is incredibly real and most recently inspired fans with a post dedicated to motherhood.

The actress took to Instagram to share a montage of photos from over the years, including a present-day picture, throwbacks of her pregnant, a photo shortly after childbirth, and another cradling her newborn baby.

The photos were followed by present-day pictures, including footage of her posing on the red carpet.

Alongside the images, Kyra wrote: "Strong enough to bear the children, then get back to business."  The caption read: "We’re always getting back to business... even with no federally-mandated paid maternity leave."

Fans were quick to comment on the post, with many calling Kyra "strong". One wrote, "Beautiful and strong," while another commented, "Lovely images and a sobering reminder." A third added: "Strength and power."

Most recently, they joined their parents to star in horror-comedy, Family Movie, which premiered at the SXSW Film Festival on March 13. Kevin and Kyra were behind the concept, suggesting that the family did a movie together. The synopsis reads: "A filmmaking family finds themselves in a real-life horror movie when a body turns up on the set of their low-budget slasher, forcing them to cover up the murder to keep filming."

Sosie opened up about the idea coming to life while talking to People. "No, I didn't have to audition. They suggested that the four of us do a movie together," she said. "We wanted it to be comedy horror kind of energy. We met with a couple of writers. Dan [Beers] was just the right man for the job," she added of the movie's screenplay writer.

"He zoomed with all of us individually to try to get a sense of us because we didn't know him before. And then we read the script that he produced and we were like, 'Oh my God, this is so accurate. How did he know all that from a couple of zooms?' So yeah, I mean it didn't take much convincing. We were excited."

At the beginning of June, Kyra opened up about working with her grown-up children during an interview on the Today show. "It's a great movie," she said, adding that it was "amazing, it was incredible!" to work with her family.

"It's so rare that you get to see your adult children in the world in a work situation," she remarked, then quipping: "First of all, I can't believe that they actually said yes, that they wanted to do the movie!"

When Craig Melvin joked that it'd be hard to say no to their parents, Kyra joked back: "Uh, they can definitely say no to mom and dad! And also, they're in their 30s, so they can do anything." She continued: "It's extraordinary to see them be good colleagues and really good actors and it was super fun."
