Goldie Hawn has made it clear that there is one thing she and Kurt Russell would never do!

The Hollywood actress recently stepped out with her long-term partner to attend the 65th Monte-Carlo Television Festival in Monaco, where Kurt received the festival's highest individual honor, the Crystal Nymph Award.

While on the red carpet, the couple spoke to Lubie en Série, where they were asked if they would ever work together on a show. "I don't think we want to work that hard do we, to do a show together," Kurt joked, as Goldie quipped: "Well, we get along so well now... can you imagine what that might end up in..." "No, we're good," Kurt confirmed, as Goldie added: "We're good!"

The couple have been together since Valentine's Day 1983 and famously never married. They have a refreshing take on their relationship and are just as in love today as they were when they met decades ago.

They share son Wyatt, 38, while Kurt is also dad to son Boston, 46, who he shares with ex-wife Season Hubley. Goldie shares older children Oliver, 49, and Kate, 46, with ex-husband Bill Hudson.

During an interview on The Dan Buettner Podcast, the Oscar-winning actress shared the key to the couple's successful relationship. "I have a relationship with birds," she said.

"I'm a bird. And you leave the cage door open, I may never fly out. But if you close that door, for my freedom and my independence, I would probably take all my feathers off."

Meanwhile, back in 2015, Goldie appeared on Loose Women, where she was asked why she hadn't married Kurt after all their years together. She replied: "I would have been long divorced if I'd been married. Marriage is an interesting psychological thing. If you need to feel bound to someone, then it's important to be married.

"If you have independence, if you have enough money and sense of independence and you like your independence, there's something psychological about not being married because it gives you the freedom to make decisions one way or the other. "For me, I chose to stay. Kurt chose to stay, and we like the choice."

"What I enjoy most is that [Goldie] really likes it in Colorado. Wyatt and Meredith, and their two boys, they live in Colorado now. So we like to spend as much time there as we can,” Kurt recently told Fox News Digital. "I'd like to be there more, and there's a different kind of life there. That's primarily it. I'd like to be able to spend as much time there as possible," Kurt added.

"Our Old Snowmass home is my favorite. It’s a large, beautiful log-cabin lodge on a ranch that we moved into a little over 40 years ago. Goldie and I share a passion for log homes," he told Wall Street Journal. "I like to wake up in bed each morning looking at the mountains out back. I like to head down to the barn, saddle up a horse and ride. I also like zoning out in front of the living room fireplace," he explained.
