Rosie O'Donnell has been spending some time in New York City over the summer, and is having the best time!

On Saturday, the actress and comedian - who left the USA for Ireland in 2025 after Donald Trump became president - shared pictures from her fun night out in the city, which certainly got fans talking.

Rosie took to Instagram to post photos from a trip to the theatre, where she joined singer Orfeh to watch Mariska Hargitay in her Broadway debut Every Brilliant Thing. The pair met up with Nicole Kidman - who happened to be celebrating her 59th birthday - along with her daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15.

Along with a group picture of herself with Orfeh, Nicole and Mariska, taken at the Hudson Theatre bar, Rosie also shared a glowing selfie of herself and Orfeh seated ahead of the show.

The pictures were met with comments which included: "Rosie, you look so beautiful," and "You look amazing Rosie," along with: "Rosie, you look fantastic!" Other comments asked Rosie whether she was back in America for good. "Rosie, are you staying?" one fan enquired, to which she replied: "No there's another school year there for Clay - when he's out - I will be back."

In May, Rosie wrote an personal essay on Substack about her decision to get a facelift, which she later opened up more about while on the red carpet at the Tony Awards on June 7.

She told Entertainment Tonight: "I feel really great. I mean it was very easy. Just not to have the lines that made me look sad, 'cause people would see me in Ireland and go, 'Oh, something wrong darling?' and I'm like 'No, that's my face.'"

The star added that she felt obligated to share her story with the world so as to not perpetuate harmful messages about weight loss. "A lot of people were writing, 'What did you do, you look so good, if only I could move to Ireland,'" she said.

"Whenever a celebrity who had a weight problem their whole life all of a sudden gets very thin, and they don't announce that they're on Mounjaro, I think it does a disservice to everybody who ever struggled with obesity."

She continued: "I didn't want to say to everyone, 'This is just me naturally', even though so many people I know in showbusiness who've had them never would say it…just tell the truth, we'll all be better off."

The facelift followed after Rosie lost 50 lbs after being prescribed the GLP-1 weight loss medication, Mounjaro, to control her diabetes.
