Social media star and former college basketball standout, Hayley Cavendish married Dallas Cowboys quarterback Jake Ferguson, in a stunning waterfront ceremony in Miami over the weekend.
The couple, who announced their engagement in April 2025, celebrated their big day at the iconic Biltmore Hotel, a venue that held special significance for Haley following her years at the University of Miami.
"I was just like, ‘Oh my gosh, this works! Let’s get married here,’ " the 25-year-old influencer and model told GQ.
For the special day, Haley looked like a true princess in a custom lace gown designed by the renowned Galia Lahav. The romantic princess-style dress featured intricate floral detailing and was teamed with heirloom jewellery, as a nod to the star's close familial ties. Hayley’s twin sister Hanna, served as the maid of honor.
Hanna shared an emotional message to her sister on social media after the wedding, writing: "From sharing a womb to standing beside you on your wedding day, being your twin is the greatest gift God has ever given me."
Husband Jake opted for a sophisticated white dinner jacket designed by tailor Mitch Purgason, with matching bow tie and shoes to complete the bond-style look.
The couple entered the venue to "Fergalicious" by Fergie and shared their first dance to "Then" by Brad Paisley, with Ferguson’s former teammate Will Grier officiating the ceremony.
While there is some contention as to who first sparked the romance between the two, Jake seems to think it was Hayley who made the first move, as he told the outlet in a post-wedding interview: "She liked a couple of my pictures, the typical social media thing, and then I slid into her DMs."
While perhaps the model had the courage to make the first move, her AFL husband spared no expense in making the day unforgettable for his wife and their loved ones, following his $52million contract with the Cowboys in 2023.
Jake splashed out on rolexes and custom golf putters for his groomsmen, revealing: "I got a couple Explorers, a couple Datejusts”. But his best man, older brother Joe, got something even more special: “I got him a rose-gold, ombré-dial Datejust."
The couple notably had no children at their wedding party, so that the 27-year-old Ferguson's high-profile teammates could let loose a bit more.
"I knew for a fact my little cousins would be asking Dak Prescott for a picture," Jake said of his teammate, the Cowboys quarterback. "I just didn’t want that to happen, because I wanted him to let loose a little bit," he chuckled.
The countdown to the fairytale day has had fans eagerly awaiting Hayley’s dress and venue, which seemed to closely follow the beachside theme of their Floridian engagement last year.
