The Italian screen icon led the glamour in Biarritz as Kristen Stewart, Marion Cotillard and rising stars gathered for the Nouvelles Vagues Film Festival
Monica Bellucci brought effortless glamour to the French Basque coast as she attended the Nouvelles Vagues International Biarritz Film Festival. The Italian actress, 61, was among a starry line-up at the event, which celebrates youth, emerging talent and bold new voices in cinema. Kristen Stewart was also on hand as jury president, while Marion Cotillard, Isabelle Huppert and several rising stars made stylish appearances throughout the festival.
Former Bond girl Monica ensured all eyes were on her as she stepped out in a glamorous black wrap-style dress with a daring thigh-high split. The Malèna star teamed the flowing, long-sleeved gown with towering black platform heels, dark sunglasses and a structured mini handbag.
Kristen gave a signature rebellious spin to Chanel at the festival, pairing a black bralette with a textured grey-and-black tweed jacket and matching skirt. The Twilight star added chunky black loafers and a wet-look hairstyle to the statement look. Kristen was in Biarritz not only as president of the international jury, but also to introduce her directorial debut The Chronology of Water, starring Imogen Poots, Thora Birch, Jim Belushi and Tom Sturridge.
Marion Cotillard made a striking entrance in a theatrical Chanel look that perfectly matched the festival's fashion-forward mood. The Oscar winner wore a glittering geometric bodice with a black bow detail, paired with a nude-toned skirt and dramatic pale feathered panels that swept down to the floor.
Isabelle brought her unmistakable Parisian cool to Biarritz in a dramatic black ensemble. The French screen legend wore a fitted high-neck top with a floor-skimming skirt, adding an unexpected edge with a glossy leather sash tied at the waist and sharp black sunglasses.
Chiara brought classic French polish to the festival in an all-black ensemble. The actress wore a silky button-down blouse with matching trousers, chic cat-eye sunglasses and understated gold jewellery, carrying an oversized quilted black clutch.
Jordan opted for relaxed tailoring in an ivory-white blazer, worn over an open-collar white shirt and loose black jeans. The actor, writer and filmmaker completed the look with sleek black boots as he attended the photocall for his directorial debut, Club Kid.
French actress Eva Danino embraced minimalist elegance in a slate-grey sleeveless midi dress with a softly draped neckline and asymmetric skirt. She finished the look with metallic sandals and delicate jewellery, allowing the clean silhouette to speak for itself.
Actor Ani Palmer and filmmaker Paloma Schneideman celebrated a major moment at the closing ceremony, after Big Girls Don't Cry took home the top prize. Ani wore an elaborate floral dress with dramatic sheer ruffles and lace-up boots, while Paloma chose relaxed black tailoring.
The actress stole the spotlight at the Full Phil premiere in Cannes, joining Kristen Stewart and Charlotte Le Bon on the red carpet in one of her boldest fashion moments yet
