Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding was certainly the talk of the town (or the country, or the world) heading into the 4th of July weekend.
The global superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end finally tied the knot in front of their loved ones at Madison Square Garden, a ceremony attended by a reported whopping 1000 guests.
While some names at the ceremony were certainly head scratchers (Hugh Grant? Brad Pitt? Jamie Oliver?), others proved to be surprising no-shows.

As the best and also worst kept secret in Hollywood, it's likely that the stars we have below did show, but there's been no evidence of such so far. Take a look at some of the more surprising "No" RSVPs to Taylor and Travis' big NYC shindig…

The biggest question was always whether Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds would attend the nuptials after signs of their falling out following the Justin Baldoni legal battle, which ultimately dragged Taylor in as well.
While some reports suggest that Blake and Ryan did indeed get invites, they were eventually spotted on July 2 at their daughter Betty's horse show in Lake Placid, hundreds of miles away from the actual wedding.

Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh Sperry were once very close with Taylor, even making an appearance in her 2021 music video for "I Bet You Think About Me." However, some reports suggest that the friendship between the couples cooled last year.
There is no definitive statement from either party on what caused their rift, with Miles even appearing on Travis' New Heights podcast in November 2025. However, the couple ultimately wasn't spotted at the wedding.

Some signs did point to the Prince and Princess of Wales showing up at the grand wedding. The couple's friendship with the royals spans back to 2024, when they met backstage after William attended the Eras Tour with his daughter Princess Charlotte, who is a huge Swiftie.
It was confirmed in the lead-up to the wedding, though, that the royals will not be in attendance. We did receive another nugget, however, in a surprise episode of New Heights featuring Prince William, which was filmed in mid-June and described a recent meeting between the couples in the UK as well.

You might think it strange that a former flame of Taylor's would earn an invite, but Harry Styles is a different story. The musicians dated briefly over a decade ago, and they've since remained friendly, interacting in public amicably on several occasions since.
Harry's fiancée Zoë Kravitz, on the other hand, is a close friend of Taylor's, and did indeed attend the wedding. While it might be safe to assume that Harry nabbed an invite as Zoë's plus one, the "Adore You" singer had other plans – a show at Wembley Stadium, part of his Together, Together residency.

Yes, it was rumored at one point that New York Knicks superfan Taylor did indeed invite the Knicks starting five, including Jalen Brunson, to her wedding, especially after she was in Madison Square Garden to witness one of their winning games against the San Antonio Spurs last month.
However, the Knicks' Josh Hart quickly shut that down on X, responding to a fan's tweet with the simple: "Lol bro this fake news."

With the inclusion of several stars known only briefly to be in Taylor and Travis' orbit, it's ripe to wonder whether other former collaborators and known friends were at the ceremony as well. Chances are, with 1000 guests on the list, they likely were and we just didn't happen to catch them, but that's assuming they got invites.
Some collaborators that come to mind include Bon Iver (who sang on "exile" off Folklore), Post Malone (who featured on "Fortnight" off The Tortured Poets Department) and Brendon Urie (who featured on "ME!" off Lover).
On the other hand, there are some friends that haven't been spotted either, most notably singer Lorde, who was quite tight with Taylor for several years. Despite also being a former partner, Taylor Lautner has since maintained a friendship with the "Blank Space" singer, although his wife's pregnancy might be a factor in why they didn't attend, if invited.
