Charlize Theron went fashion forward for the very first grand premiere for Christopher Nolan's epic The Odyssey.
The Oscar-winning actress, 50, attended the London premiere for the star-studded drama with the rest of its central cast on Monday, July 6.
Prior to hitting the carpet, though, Charlize gave a sneak-peek of the beauty process, taking to Instagram with a few snaps of herself in her hotel in the midst of glam.
Charlize Theron's pre-Odyssey premiere shoot
In one particular shot that immediately left her fans in awe, the actress posed with her full glam and hair ready, accessorized with diamond droplet earrings, and wearing nothing underneath.
Her followers quickly reacted to the racy snap with a barrage of flame emojis, others leaving comments like: "Stunning," and: "So stunningly beautiful!" plus: "Timeless beauty! Beautiful!!!" as well as: "Goddess!"
Her red carpet style
She then included several other snaps of herself from the red carpet, dressed in a sleek Givenchy black velvet gown with a slit that went all the way up to her hip, paired with black strappy stilettos, a ruffled back, and layered voluminous white gloves.
For the after party, she switched things up by wearing the exact same outfit, but this time with a different color palette, going with a red velvet gown paired with the exact same gloves, now in black.
In another collection of photos from the premiere, which lead with another image of herself wearing nothing while covering herself up with her clutch, Charlize wrote alongside them: "This is how you do London."
Her famous friends were instantly enamored, with Julianne Hough commenting: "Beyond," Naomi Watts adding: "Wowza just incredible," Lindsey Vonn saying: "Always mogging everyone!!" and Michelle Monaghan quipping: "I've been doing it all wrong."
What else do we know about The Odyssey and Charlize's role in it?
The Odyssey, an adaptation of Homer's ancient Greek epic of the same name, stars Matt Damon as the Greek king of Ithaca Odysseus. It centrally stars Tom Holland as Telemachus, Odysseus' son, Anne Hathaway as Penelope, his wife, Robert Pattinson as Antinous, one of her ill-intentioned suitors.
Others in the cast include Zendaya, playing the goddess Athena, Lupita Nyong'o in a dual role as both Helen of Troy and her sister Clytemnestra, Jon Bernthal as Menelaus, Samantha Morton as the goddess Circe, and Mia Goth as the servant Melantho. Charlize plays the nymph Calypso, who keeps Odysseus as a prisoner on her island for seven years.
Speaking to Elle of her complicated character, Charlize shared: "I was given a chance to do something that I haven't had a ton of opportunity to do, because she's a little bit of everything."
"That's what's so beautiful about her. And a lot of people on their own cast me in this movie, and they cast me very differently. It was a real opportunity that Chris gave me to do something that didn't feel like typecasting."
The Odyssey will be released in theatres on July 17, almost three years to the date since the release of Christopher's last blockbuster, Oppenheimer.
