Charlie Sheen has been ordered to pay his third ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, a hefty sum after the former couple finally settled their child support dispute.

In December, the former actress, 48, sued Charlie for $15.3 million, claiming he owed $8.9 million in back child support from March 2011 to December 2025 and $6.4 million in interest.

She also requested Charlie pay her $25,000 in attorney fees within 30 days.

While much less than she requested, new court documents now reveal that the Two and a Half Men star, 60, has agreed to pay Brooke $500,000 in back child support for their 17-year-old twins Bob and Max, covering the period March 2011 to July 2026.

Charlie must pay half of the money by Friday, July 10, and the remaining amount by Tuesday, September 1.

In her initial lawsuit, Brooke claimed that Charlie began paying $55,000 per month starting in April 2010, but in July 2011, he began making either partial or no payments.

At the time, Charlie's spokesperson said: "Brooke has been in and out of rehab for the past 15 years, while Charlie has had 100% custody of the kids, which is why she is not entitled to any child support," according to TMZ.

According to their new agreement, Charlie and Brooke will now both be financially responsible for their twin sons, depending on whichever parent has "physical custody" at the time.

They will also "continue to enjoy joint legal custody," as long as Brooke, who has struggled with addiction, remains sober, but if she relapses, Charlie will have sole custody "until further court order or written agreement of the Parties."

Despite sharing physical custody of Bob and Max, the documents, obtained by People, state that "the minor children's primary residence will be with [Charlie]."

"Brooke shall enjoy reasonable and flexible periods of custody and visitation as agreed and arranged between the Parties, recognizing the goal of frequent and continuous contact between the minors and both parents," the documents stated.

In 2023, Charlie spoke about raising his sons alone while Brooke figured "some stuff out." He told People: "Their mom has been trying to figure some stuff out on her end, so she's not in the picture too much right now."

"They're really cool, really smart, and really funny," he added of their characters.
