The TV personality has always been upfront about undergoing plastic surgery, and detailed her harrowing experience with her third facelift in 2021.

"I had a full facelift done in October, and I looked like one of those f****** mummies that they wrap [with bandages]. It hurt like hell. You have no idea," she told The Sunday Times.

"I'm telling you, it was horrendous. [To the surgeon] I'm, like, 'You've got to be f****** joking.' One eye was different to the other. I looked like a f****** Cyclops. I'm, like, 'All I need is a hunchback.'"

"That was the worst thing that I ever did," Sharon added. 

"I had one eye here and one eye there and my mouth was all skewwhiff, and then I had to wait for that to heal before I could go back and have it corrected." After her difficult experience, Sharon swore off plastic surgery for good.

The legendary actress has undergone several plastic surgeries in her lifetime, and shared with Vogue that she wasn't exactly proud to admit to them. 

"I had a facelift, and I stopped because I don't want to look distorted," Jane said. "I'm not proud of the fact that I had [one]. Now, I don't know if I had it to do over if I would do it. But I did it. I admit it, and then I just say, okay, you can get addicted. Don't keep doing it."

She also explained in her documentary, Jane Fonda in Five Acts, that her desire to undergo plastic surgery stemmed from lifelong insecurity.

"On one level, I hate the fact that I’ve had the need to alter myself physically to feel that I’m okay,” Jane said. “I wish I wasn’t like that. I love older faces. I love lived-in faces…I wish I was braver. But I am what I am."

The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch underwent her first facelift in 2011, and stunned the internet in 2025 when she revealed the results of her second facelift procedure.

"I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh. I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy," she told Vogue Arabia.

"Just because you get older, it doesn't mean you should give up on yourself. If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully – meaning you don't want to do anything – then don't do anything. But for me, this is ageing gracefully. It's my version."

Kris added that she wanted to share insight into her journey so fans would understand that her transformation didn’t come naturally. 

"I feel it can be very inspirational to people who aren't feeling so great about themselves…I have the conviction that sharing these things can be helpful."

Rosie was vocally opposed to the idea of plastic surgery for decades, yet changed her tune in her 60s after undergoing a weight loss transformation.

"I lost so much weight that I had a lot of excess skin [under my chin], and it made me look sad," she detailed to People. "I didn’t want my face to be frozen. I had to wrestle with myself because as a feminist I always felt this is the male gaze and not anything I believe in."

Rosie explained that her youngest child, Clay, pushed back against her desire to get a facelift, arguing that it was inherently antifeminist.

"I changed my mind for six months and then decided the real power of feminism [is] to decide what we want to do with our bodies and when," the mother of five said.

Rosie revealed the details of her procedure in 2026 in the spirit of transparency. 

"I didn’t make it public until everyone started saying, 'You look so much better. What are you doing?' I didn’t want to be one of those people who says, 'Oh, nothing.' So why do I look like this? $90,000."

The comedienne underwent her third facelift in 2025 and while she was satisfied with the result, she also took the time to warn her fans about the drawbacks of the invasive procedure.

"I'm going to be honest – it's painful. So these b****** that are like, 'It's like getting a tooth filled! It's nothing!' No ― it's painful," Kathy cautioned in her YouTube video.

"You come home – and maybe you come home with a nurse – and it's disgusting. I'm not going to lie. The first night, there's drains that come out of your chin. I know, it's so gross."

Kathy added that the decision to go under the knife was one of pure vanity. 

"I'm so vain for no reason. No one has ever gone to a Kathy Griffin show to see her beautiful, youthful face. You come to hear my jokes, which is what I want. I don't want you to come to care what I look like," she shared.

The fashion designer opted for a highly publicised deep-plane facelift in 2021 and boldly documented his recovery on social media.

He later discussed his decision to be so transparent on the High Low with EmRata podcast.

"Charly, my husband, who certainly didn't need a facelift, had it in his mind that he wanted a facelift. So, when I asked him what I wanted for his birthday, he said, 'I want a facelift.' I said, 'If you do it, I'll do it.'" 

Marc added that the process was "fab" and that he was incredibly satisfied with the results.
