Country music star Megan Moroney was "bawling" her eyes out after she abruptly cut her concert short on Tuesday, July 28.

The 28-year-old singer managed to get through three songs during her show at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, before she left the stage, unable to continue.

Megan returned, fighting back tears as she addressed the crowd and explained that she was too sick to play on.

"I am obviously extremely sick, and I thought I did everything to make myself better, and obviously, two songs in, I just can't play this show tonight," she said in a fan-recorded video.

"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and cooperation."

Soon after, Megan shared an emotional message on Instagram, calling the abrupt end to her show "the hardest decision I've ever had to make."

Megan's apology was met with widespread support from her fans on social media, with many encouraging her to concentrate on getting better. "I was there she was so good I hope she feels better soon," one person wrote.

The "Tennessee Orange" singer did not share details about her illness, so it's unclear if she will feel well enough to perform on the next stop of her tour on Saturday, August 1, at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.

Megan has been on her Cloud 9 Tour in support of her third studio album, also titled Cloud 9, since May, with stops scheduled in Los Angeles, Dallas, and Nashville, before she heads to Europe, where she will wrap up her tour on October 1.
