Christie Brinkley is a carefree woman. The 72-year-old model opened up about her life and how she's choosing to worry less in a recent interview.
Christie, who is a mom-of-three, shared her perspective on aging and how she's passing down what she's learned to her kids.
"When you're young, you are always wondering and thinking about what they're thinking about you, and you know, people don't really spend that much time thinking about you," the model told Society Allure in July 2026.

This carefree attitude bleeds into all parts of her life. In April 2026, the model shared a refreshingly honest insight into how her perspective on beauty has evolved over the years, telling HELLO!: "My daughters actually teach me about body positivity."

Is Christie Brinkley in a relationship?
The model is currently single, but she has a string of well known partners. In November 1975, Christie married the French artist Jean-François Allaux, but they divorced six years later. She then started dating Olivier Chandon de Brailles, the heir to the Moët-Chandon Champagne fortune before his tragic death in a car crash.
In 1985, Christie married for the second time to musician Billy Joel. The famous pair met on St. Barts and tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony with the likes of Paul Simon and more. Christie and Billy had one child together, Alexa. And while they divorced in 1994, they are still close.

After they divorced in 1995, Christie married for the fourth time to architect Peter Halsey Cook. The couple, who are parents to daughter Sailor, were together for 12 years.
After her fourth divorce, Christie briefly dated singer John Mellencamp. But after about a year together, they ended their relationship. In 2022, the model revealed she created a dating profile on an app.
While Christie's profile was only live for just over an hour, she received hundreds of matches, and some were a little too close for comfort.
