Nicole Kidman just proved that the recipe for perfecting off-duty style is simple – you can't go wrong with a pair of well-fitted jeans and a sophisticated white shirt.
The 59-year-old was photographed departing a press junket for Lioness on July 30 in New York City. The actress looked chic in a pair of straight-leg, light-wash jeans and a white silk shirt. The casual ensemble was layered with a sleek gray blazer and completed with white sneakers and a black leather handbag.
Nicole's luscious locks were left down in a straight style while her makeup was left natural, courtesy of a radiant complexion, rosy cheeks, and a glossy lip.
Nicole Kidman's role in Lioness
The actress's thriller series Lioness is set to return for a third season this August. Created by Taylor Sheridan, the thrilling series follows an elite unit of female operatives tackling high-stakes undercover missions. Nicole and Zoë Saldaña star in and executively-produce the hit series.
In the upcoming third season, "hidden networks, foreign operatives, and personal betrayals collide," according to the synopsis.
It continues: "Joe (Saldaña) walks the line between duty and home as unseen forces circle her world. Patterns appear where they shouldn't, names vanish, and paths rearrange. Guided by Kaitlyn (Kidman) and Westfield (Michael Kelly), Joe confronts enemies operating in the shadows, leaving her to reckon with a war that now reaches into every part of her life."
Nicole Kidman's recent press tour wardrobe
For the premiere of Lioness at New York City’s SVA Theater on July 29, Nicole stepped out dressed in Fendi’s fall 2026 couture collection. Styled by Jason Bolden, the ensemble consisted of a semi-sheer tunic embroidered with silver detailing set on a tulle finish. The dress-like garment was styled with ivory tuxedo pants adorned with a satin side stripe. Nicole completed her outfit with Fendi pumps designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri.
Nicole's hair was styled by Danielle Priano in a sleek blowout and her glowing makeup was courtesy of Kate Synnott.
The look put a unique spin on the trendy skirt-over-pants trend. This layering trick reinvents structured tailoring by introducing unexpected volume and texture to the silhouette, resulting in a look that feels bolder.
Skirts worn over pants appeared across the spring/summer 2025 runway collections. Boss delivered a playful take on classic tailoring with a palette of deep chocolate brown, while Alaïa embraced whimsical silhouettes with a navy skirt adorned with a floating hem that danced around the body. The garment was paired with tapered fishnet pants.
