With her 5'11 stature, Nicole Kidman could have easily made it as a supermodel in another lifetime. The actress took to Instagram on October 26 to show off her towering height in the ultimate fashion-forward ensemble.
Nicole infused her sartorial agenda with a dose of double denim as she posed for a series of photographs. The star wore a dark wash denim co-ord consisting of a buttoned jacket adorned with a red rose appliqué and a pair of straight-leg jeans from Khaite. The look was layered over a black lace vest and styled with a leather belt. For a bold finish, Nicole wore a pair of snakeskin print pumps.
The 59-year-old's luscious blonde locks were swept back into a high ponytail with face-framing bags while her makeup oozed glam, courtesy of a bronze eye and nude lip.
This isn't the first time the actress has worn an ensemble from the fashion brand Khaite. For an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in March, Nicole wore a cropped leather jacket with a tailored silhouette, refined button detailing along the bodice, and sharply structured shoulders. The glossy garment was styled with a simple black maxi skirt, sheer stockings, and a pair of pointed-toe heels.
Nicole Kidman and Chanel
However, Nicole's go-to fashion house for red carpets will always be Chanel. Back in October, Nicole shared that she would be returning to Chanel as an ambassador following the debut of Matthieu Blazy as the house's new creative director.
"I am thrilled to be joining Chanel as it begins its new chapter with Matthieu at the helm," she said at the time. "As someone who has such an appreciation for Haute Couture, I am so looking forward to witnessing Matthieu’s vision for the oldest Haute Couture House still in operation and having the opportunity to wear what I know will be gorgeous creations."
She continued: "Chanel has always been ahead of the curve, shining a smart and gracious light on women, and I am sure Matthieu will be no exception, just like Karl [Lagerfeld] did in his time." Matthieu was equally enthusiastic about the partnership with Nicole, saying: "From the unforgettable Baz Luhrmann film to her countless red carpet looks, Nicole has always been part of the history of the House. Having worked with Nicole in the past and now reuniting with her at Chanel is a dream come true and couldn’t make me happier."
