Christina Haack and her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa earned some major parenting points after gifting their daughter, Taylor, a $150,000 car.

The exes, along with Tarek's wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, surprised the 15-year-old with her sparkling new first car ahead of her 16th birthday next month.

Sharing the surprise in a video on Instagram, which you can watch above, Tarek began the ruse by taking Taylor for a driving lesson in an empty parking lot.

"We're giving Taylor her car," Heather said in the clip, as Christina added: "She has no idea. It's such a beauty. I'm so excited for her she deserves it."

Christina and Heather then pulled up in her new ride, adorned with a big pink bow, and the shock was evident on Taylor's face as she noticed the blue BMW X5 M.

"Oh my gosh," Taylor exclaimed as her dad gave her a tour of the vehicle. "I'm crying." After admiring the interior, she turned to hug Tarek and said: "I love it."

Taylor got her learner's permit in March

Christina revealed in March that Taylor had obtained her learner's permit. "Omg our girl has a driving permit!!!" she captioned the post, tagging Tarek and Heather.

According to California teen driving laws, teenagers can obtain a learner's permit at age 15-and-a-half after passing a written test and a vision test, but they must always have a licensed driver 25 years or older in the passenger seat.

When Taylor turns 16 on September 22, she can apply for her provisional driver's license, provided she has completed 50 hours of supervised driving and passed a driving test.
