T.J. Holmesand Amy Robachhave been going strong for years, however they've had an unconventional relationship.
The duo first met in September 2020, when T.J. joined Amy on GMA3: What You Need to Know as her new co-host.
Their friendship got stronger as the two began running together the following month, along with Amy's friend Nikki, as their bond grew outside of work.
In July 2021, they publicly revealed similar posts on social media about how they'll miss each other as Amy headed to Tokyo for Olympics coverage, and in June 2022 the two continued to work together on major projects such as the Platinum Jubilee in London.
During the fall of 2022, the duo ran the New York Marathon together, and in November of that year, their secret relationship was revealed.
At the time both were married and had children, which caused a stir not only for the ABC network but for their families as well.
Soon after the news broke, their joint show was put on a hiatus in December 2022.
In January 2023, the pair were fired by ABC, with the network releasing the following statement: "After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, about different options, we all agreed it's best for everyone that they move on from ABC News. We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions.
T.J. revealed: "There is a way we want to get married that we haven't revealed necessarily, but it would be very special to us. We can't say what that is. That's a big thing for us."
Amy added: "This will be our third marriage, both of us. We've both been married twice before, and we want to maximize the amount of time we have together. We want to enjoy as much of that as we can."
One thing we know for sure is that the two have a growing bucket list for post-wedding plans such as "take a Thailand trip" and "go shark diving," as well as "maybe living in another country together," as Amy emphasized: "That is absolutely on our bucket list."
T.J. confirmed: "So much of our bucket list stuff has to do with enjoying life, has to do with vacation, has to do with travel, seeing new things, doing things with the kids. That's what life is. On our list now is really just the wedding and maybe the [Las] Vegas Half Marathon."
