Shania Twain celebrated her 61st birthday on August 28, and her husband since 2011, Frédéric Thiébaud, recently provided an inside look into the festivities.

Frédéric shared a video of the star blowing out her birthday candles on her massive cake, which impressively featured two white hats on top of each other with cheetah accents, as well as a miniature guitar, which the star pretended to play.

After she made a wish, she took a bow and smiled ear to ear.  The video also shared a look inside Shania's stylish home, featuring golden tables, brown suede seating, a flat screen TV, and walls painted a chic clay color.

Fans wished her a happy birthday online, with one person writing: "Happy birthday very very gorgeous Shania Twain. Shania Twain is a very very gorgeous dream woman and an very very exceptional artist. You simply have to love her."

What is Shania's take on aging?

The performer reflected on the insecurities she began to face when she began aging.

She recalled to People: "I go from being this young, stunning figure, beautiful skin, everything's in the right place [to a] time in my life where I couldn't look in the mirror because all I could see were imperfections and not wanting to be that curvy thing."

Since then, she's adjusted her perspective to be more flexible towards the changes she saw.

Shaina explained: "It is well-being first, always. To becoming an older woman and now looking in the mirror, no problem. I'm like, 'I just have to get over this because every day that goes by, I'm getting older; the dips and bulges and the sags are just getting more and more prominent.'"

The entertainer expressed: "I'm not trying to be 30. I'm not trying to be 25, and I won't be ever again. That's my own fault for not looking in the mirror when I was younger, and shame on me. I encourage everybody: enjoy yourself the way you are right now and love it. Vanity is not worth torture."

Shania believes adapting is key

She shared: "I'm just learning every phase that I go through, and I adapt. I can't play tennis like a maniac the way I used to in my 30s because I'm going to break my body. My wrist started to go because I planted so many trees in my youth, and I've got this big carpal lump."

Shania joked: "The first thing to go for me in tennis was my backhand. So I'm like, 'It's time to take on the double-handed backhand.' And it's more wicked than my one-handed backhand!"
