Practical Magic finally returns to theaters this fall, with the arrival of the cult classic's long awaited sequel on September 10.
The original was released in 1998 to mixed reviews, and mild commercial success. However, it soon spawned a dedicated fanbase, one that revisits the film every year during fall and Halloween season, whether it's for a round of midnight margaritas or to just catch up on some magical shenanigans from Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman.
Before the film developed its negative critical reception, though, it was certainly a *moment* in Hollywood, with several big names showing up for the premiere in Los Angeles in 1998 (except for Nicole herself, who was performing in London at the time, or Dianne Wiest).
