It's no secret that Anne Hathaway has had a very, very busy 2026!
The Oscar-winning actress, 43, is famously starring in a total of five films released within the span of less than six months, all while expecting her third child.
© Getty ImagesIn April, the star appeared in Mother Mary opposite Michaela Coel, shortly followed by the long-awaited The Devil Wears Prada 2. In July, she appeared in the ensemble cast for Christopher Nolan's celebrated historical epic The Odyssey, earning rave reviews.
In August, her sci-fi survival film opposite Ewan McGregor, The End of Oak Street, was released. And on October 2, she will finally appear in the latest Colleen Hoover book-to-screen adaptation, Verity, with Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett.
Plus, in June, while in the midst of the press run for The Odyssey, Anne revealed she and husband Adam Shulman were expecting their third child together.
Recently, before Verity's release, Anne expressed her intent to take a step back from public life to devote to motherhood and some time to rest and recuperate after a very busy season of releases.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight at the Verity red carpet premiere in New York City, when asked about her plans, she said at first: "Oh my gosh…I haven't thought about it."
© Getty Images"I've literally just been one foot in front of the other, just get to the end," she continued. "But that's just it, just being open, not having a schedule."
Anne gushed about her "amazing year," but noted that it's "been a lot of logistics" between traveling all across the world for premieres, carpets, interviews, and the like. "So I think to just have my schedule be my kids' schedule."
"I'll get to do really self-indulgent things, like go to a yoga class, and stuff like that. So I guess maybe just self-care and nesting." She also got to show off her gorgeous black sequined gown for her final red carpet of the year.

And this is my last premiere of the year. I've been over blessed this year in terms of all the beautiful dresses I've gotten to wear and I'm so happy I get to end the year in this one."
In August, Anne and Adam made their very first public appearance with their two sons, Jonathan and Jack, at the 2026 Disney Legends Awards, where the Princess Diaries actress was honored as a Disney Legend herself.
Speaking with People at the ceremony, Anne joked that her sons weren't all that interested in her "legend status" with the House of Mouse, and more so with who else would be at the event. "That kind of stuff doesn't really make it past the front door," she quipped.
© Getty Images"It's all fun and everything, but basically, as soon as I pass the threshold, somebody's throwing a football at me or asking me to clean out their backpack or asking me to make them a snack," adding: "So the legend status doesn't really carry any weight with my kids. But they are very excited to meet Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson."
