Jenna joined TODAY in 2009 as a news correspondent and contributor. She first debuted as the permanent co-host alongside Hoda Kotb in April 2019, replacing Kathie Lee Gifford. After Hoda left in January 2025, Jenna hosted the fourth hour alone with rotating celebrity co-hosts like Scarlett Johannson, Keke Palmer, and Andy Cohen.

Sheinelle made her debut as Jenna's permanent co-host for TODAY's 4th Hour on January 12. And while many may ask what Jenna's next career moves are, she is happy at her desk.

Nayeema joined Jenna and Sheinelle to discuss how to have good conversations. Jenna started to ask the guest a question, saying: "At the end of a job interview – I just did one –" when Nayeema interrupted asking if she was leaving TODAY.

Jenna laughed and responded: "No, no, no, no, no!" adding: "I was interviewing somebody."
