Linda Fiorentino was everywhere in the '90s. The actress starred in a string of films, including blockbuster Men in Black, before being quietly blacklisted from Hollywood.

How Linda Fiorentino got into acting
Linda first started performing while studying at Rosemont College. While she originally dreamt of heading to law school, Linda was convinced to pursue an acting career by one of her professors. She moved to New York and studied theater before landing her debut role in Vision Quest (1985).
After her debut, Linda appeared in films alongside major stars like ER's Anthony Edwards and in Martin Scorsese's After Hours (1985).

Linda's big break
In 1994, the actress's performance as a murderer in The Last Seduction received critical acclaim. The film gained a cult following and has since landed Linda's character as one of the most iconic femmes fatales in history.
Linda was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role that year, as well as an Independent Spirit Award.

Transitioning into blockbusters
The actress starred as the female lead in 1997's Men in Black, her biggest film to date. The first film of the franchise grossed over $587 million worldwide at the box office. Linda then appeared in Dogma, a fantasy comedy starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, written and directed by Kevin Smith.
While the film received good reviews, Linda's time on the set of Dogma was tense. In an interview with TV Guide in 2000, Kevin alleged that the actress wasn't easy to work with. "Linda created crisis and trauma and anguish," he said. "She created drama while we were making a comedy. She was ticked off that there were other people in the movie who were more famous than she was."

Linda's last time on screen
The actress's career slowed down in the 2000s after her success the decade prior. It was reported that Linda was set to appear in a Georgia O'Keeffe biographical drama, but decided not to move forward due to the film's provocative sex scenes. Her last time on screen was in 2009's direct-to-video film Once More with Feeling.

Inside Linda's volatile love life
Linda married film director John Byrum in 1992, but the two divorced just a year later. Her next public relationship didn't come until 2008 when she started dating Los Angeles private investigator Anthony Pellicano. The couple got together as Anthony was preparing for his 2008 trial and conviction on multiple felony charges.
The actress was also connected to former FBI agent Mark Rossini, who was later found guilty of illegally accessing bureau computers to help Anthony in his trial. Law enforcement officials claimed Linda's connection between the two was her attempt to assist Anthony's defense. At the end, the actress's relationship with both Anthony and Mark. Anthony was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison, while Mark served one year of probation.
