Sarah Jessica Parker kept her son James Wilkie close as the pair held hands on the red carpet during a family evening on Broadway.
The actress, 61, joined husband Matthew Broderick, 64, and their eldest child, 23, for the opening night of Other Desert Cities at New York's Hudson Theatre on Sunday, 18 October.
Standing between his famous parents, James looked smart in a navy suit, pale blue shirt and checked tie, finishing his outfit with a patterned pocket square and brown leather shoes.
Matthew opted for a charcoal suit with a striped tie and colourful pocket square, while Sarah Jessica brought her signature glamour to the occasion in a fitted black dress.
Sarah Jessica Parker's glamorous Broadway family outing
The actress's dress featured a delicate floral pattern, a straight neckline and a fringed hem that fell below her knees. A cropped black cardigan, pointed heels and a sparkling handbag completed her evening look.
She wore her blonde hair loose in soft waves, with a pendant necklace adding a delicate finishing touch.
The family smiled together for photographers, with James placing an arm around his father while holding his mother's hand.
They were there to celebrate a star-studded revival of Jon Robin Baitz's play, directed by John Benjamin Hickey and featuring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Ed Harris, Allison Janney, Joe Keery and Lily Rabe.
Set during a Christmas Eve gathering in Palm Springs, the drama follows a family confronted with long-buried secrets when a daughter returns home with a revealing memoir.
James Wilkie Broderick's growing acting career
The outing comes as James continues building his own screen career, with a new film alongside The White Lotus actor Sam Nivola.
The pair star in Days Ending in Y, directed by Theo Quantick and filmed in Wales. Sam discussed the project in an interview published on Sunday, explaining that he and James have been friends since childhood.
James has already shared the screen with his father. The two appeared in the February 2025 Elsbeth episode "Foiled Again", with Matthew playing an educational consultant and James taking the role of Carl. CBS described the episode as their first time acting together on screen.
That year also brought an academic milestone: James graduated from Brown University, where he studied classics.
