Rachael Ray revealed the new diet that had kept her menopause symptoms at bay for years, after losing 40 lbs amid her weight loss transformation.
The 58-year-old shared with People that she was eating more vegetables than ever, mostly grown from her own garden, and was enjoying the health benefits of her diet.
Inside Rachael Ray's new diet
"I have no menopausal signs of any kind," she told the publication. "My sister's the same way. She's 67. She never had them either. I've always had an easy time, just in life, when it comes to that kind of stuff."
"I take my doctor's advice on hormone replacement or whatever my doctors advise me," Rachael continued, adding that she always tried to eat "as healthfully as possible".
"You eat lots of color in your diet, which means you're getting lots of the right vitamins without the need of supplements. I do take supplements also," she said.
The celebrity chef explained that her husband of 21 years, John Cusimano, was a "nut for supplements" and spends a lot of time focusing on his health.

"I think that that's a big part to life," Rachael continued. "Are you eating a colorful diet and are you happy? Do you try and get up with purpose every day? I think that helps everyone, male and female."
As for her produce, the TV personality shared that they had four garden beds where they grow "everything", from squashes and zucchinis to eggplants.
Rachael Ray's health transformation revealed
Rachael has lost 40 lbs in recent years by avoiding restrictive eating and focusing on the Mediterranean diet, which emphasizes seafood, legumes, nuts, fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
"It lowers the risk of heart disease, and you can live longer," she said on Dr Oz about the diet. "You don't need a multivitamin, you need the rainbow of vegetables."
"Another important source of protein is eggs, because they are nutrient-rich and not expensive," she added, before encouraging others to enjoy fresh fish and sardines, which contain "good fats".
Fans of the star have shared their concern in the past for Rachael's health, particularly after she appeared to slur some of her words in a social media video posted in September 2024. A month later, she clarified that she had suffered some "bad falls", but did not go into detail on the issue.
"I am a homemaker. I love chores. I love being in the kitchen. I always work with my brain every day. I'm always writing something," she said on her podcast, I'll Sleep When I'm Dead.
"But I really like chores. I like what people consider physical work. I like making dinners, planning dinners, making lists…helping carry in the wood." Rachael added that she "had a couple of bad falls in the last couple of weeks" and hadn't carried wood in a while.
