Shiloh Jolie stepped out in Los Angeles on Sunday with an ultra-edgy look featuring a bold piercing on her bottom lip. The 20-year-old was seen at a farmer's market, looking laid back in a gray hoodie with a print from the 2006 film Little Miss Sunshine on the front, paired with dark pants.

She wore her hoodie over her blonde locks, which were pulled back behind her head. Shiloh's piercing is not the first time she had experimented with her looks; in fact, the dancer had rocked everything from a buzzcut and pink hair to Tomb Raider-esque braids in the past.

Shiloh's mother, Angelina Jolie, is incredibly supportive of her daughter's individuality, and shared with L'Officiel that she wanted her six children to reach their full potential.

"They're definitely individuals. That makes me very proud, because one of the most important things, I think, is to basically not get in their way," she told the outlet.

Her style has changed several times in recent years

"As a parent, you try to do many things, but you also try to not get in the way of this human being who has a life separate from yours and so much potential in their own mind. You want to make sure that you support them."

Angelina has also been known to rock a body modification or two in the past, including the fake lip cuff she wore to the Eternals premiere in 2021, and the myriad of tattoos she has collected over the years. The Maria actress previously defended Shiloh as a child when she began to wear more masculine looks like suits and cropped hair.

"I don't think it's for the world to interpret anything. She likes to dress like a boy and wants her hair cut like a boy, and she wanted to be called John for a while," she told the Daily Mail.

"Some kids wear capes and want to be Superman, and she wants to be like her brothers. It's who she is. It's been a surprise to us, and it's really interesting, but she's so much more than that – she's funny and sweet and pretty. But she does love a tie."

Shiloh Jolie's estrangement from Brad Pitt explained

Shiloh, who is a passionate dancer and appeared in Dayoung's music video for "What's a girl to do" in April, was the first of her siblings to publicly distance herself from her estranged father, Brad Pitt, in the wake of his split from Angelina in 2016.

After her 18th birthday in 2024, Shiloh filed to officially drop Brad's last name from her own, in a move that her siblings have since followed.

Maddox, Zahara and Vivienne have all legally dropped "Pitt" too, while Knox left it off his name when he graduated in 2026. Pax is the only one of Brad's children to keep "Pitt".

While Shiloh declined to comment on the reason behind her name change, her attorney, Peter Levine, shared in a statement that the decision came about due to "painful events".

Most of her siblings followed suit

"The media should be more careful in their reporting, especially when covering a young adult who has made an independent and significant decision following painful events, and is merely following legal process," he said.

"As Shiloh's attorney, I am required to publish a legal notice because the law in California requires that of anyone who wants to change their name. That legal notice was published in the Los Angeles Times, as is required."
