Amy Robach supported her husband, T.J. Holmes, as he ran his first solo marathon this week. The former ABC news reporter took to Instagram on November 3 to share a touching tribute to her partner following his major achievement.

The post featured a carousel of photos documenting the marathon day. The first slide captured the couple walking together, with Amy wrapping her arm around T.J.'s waist. A short clip showed T.J. running past his family as they cheered from the sidelines, while a third photo captured the pair celebrating afterward, complete with T.J. wearing a medal around his neck.

The former GMA3 anchor completed the 26.2-mile course in four hours, 19 minutes and 35 seconds. "So proud of @officialtjholmes for pushing past pain and running his first solo marathon, his FOURTH @nycmarathon My first time spectating, and thank GOD my bestie and fellow marathoner @nikespina showed me the ropes. Best Day Ever #nycmarathon," Amy penned in the caption.

The couple met while working together on GMA3. Amy had worked for ABC News since 2012, and T.J. had been with them since 2014. The pair had hosted GMA3 together since 2020, alongside their former co-star Dr. Jennifer Ashton. They married privately in Arkansas on September 19, 2026.

Their relationship first made headlines after paparazzi photographed them embracing while both were still married to their former spouses. At the time, it was not yet public knowledge that they had already separated from their partners.

Marilee Fiebig's marriage to Andrew Shue

The post comes after the couple's respective exes got married on November 1. Marilee Fiebig and Andrew Shue exchanged vows at their New Jersey farm. Andrew was previously married to Amy, while Marilee was married to T.J. Both divorces were finalized in 2023. Andrew announced in October that he and Marilee had quietly become engaged in the spring, after a relationship that became public in December 2023.

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes on privacy

The couple's private wedding didn't come as a surprise considering they value their privacy when it comes to their relationship. T.J. spoke to HELLO! about wedding planning during the Jingle Ball back in December last year. "Our big debate right now is when to let people in on it, because, quite frankly, we have been trying to be quiet and live our lives and be happy," he shared.

"We are not trying to make announcements. We're not trying to let everybody in. We're just trying to go about our lives. And the only reason people know we're engaged now is because we felt we had to run out and tell people before somebody else did, and that was it."

He continued: "So no… we don't have an announcement. We don't have plans. We literally are living our lives and happy and quiet and private, and it's been wonderful. So as far as the wedding plans go, you will hear about the wedding plans probably two years after the wedding took place."
