From the moment Tom Cruise filed for legal separation from Nicole Kidman on February 7, the estranged couple’s every move, word and gesture has been under scrutiny in the court of public opinion. And judging by this picture, taken as it was announced that their divorce would be brought to an early conclusion, Nicole couldn’t be more relieved that it’s all over - and she doesn’t care who knows it.
Nicole has continued to hold her head up high and has refused to play the part of the woman scorned. Instead she has chosen to be philosophical, hopeful and positive. She summed her approach up best in a recent interview in Good Morning America when she said, “As my dad says: ‘Nic, it is what it is. It’s not what it should have been and not what it could have been. It is what it is.’”
And with a yell of release, captured on camera, it looks like Nicole is glad she is free to move on.
