Eva Longoria looked gorgeous in green on Friday as she helped her good friend Alina Peralta to celebrate a very special day. In the Spanish city of Córdoba, Eva watched Alina marry her partner, and shared snaps of the beautiful day with her fans over the social media site Instagram.

"Bridesmaids already taking a break! #Córdoba #Alina&Manuel #Family #Blessed," she jokingly captioned the first picture of the day, which showed Eva and two fellow bridesmaids posing on a couch.

The three Spanish beauties all wore their brunette hair loose, showing off their bare shoulders. The stunning sea green gowns were strapless with sweetheart necklines, and featured a jewelled band creating definition for the waist.

A second picture showed all four bridesmaids posing with Eva's handsome co-star in her new TV comedy series Telenovela, Amaury Nolasco, while a third featured a group of guests "wedding party ready".

The bride, Alina, is a close friend of Eva's, and the pair work together on charity projects for Global Gift Foundation.

Missing from the pictures was Eva's long term partner, Mexican businessman Jose Antonio Baston, who the 40-year-old actress recently opened up on. "He's a good dresser," Eva said of her man during an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. "I always have to step it up. It's exhausting."

The former Desperate Housewives actress recently shared pictures of her 40th birthday party with HELLO! Magazine, and opened up about how she has been celebrating what she calls "the best time of my life".

Joined by her partner Jose, Eva also invited some 300 guests to a star-studded evening gala featuring a purple blossom-bedecked cake and decor featuring photographs snapped over the course of Eva's life. In one of the most emotional moments of the night, Pepe and his daughter Mariana took the stage to wish her happy birthday.

Speaking to the magazine, Eva said: "I'm sure of what I want, where I want to be and who I want to be with.

"So I say, welcome, 40's!"
