It's been 12 years to the day since Ola Jordan and her husband James tied the knot. The Strictly Come Dancing pro and her dancer love couldn't help show their appreciation and affection for each other online, and took to Instagram to mark their special day.

Sharing a throwback wedding photo taken in 2003, Ola praised her "wonderful" husband.

The Polish beauty, who was the first to be eliminated from this year's Strictly alongside celebrity partner Iwan Thomas, was pictured in her ivory gown and veil, leaning into her groom for a kiss.

"12 years today I have been married to this wonderful man," wrote Ola. "He is quite simply the best husband I could ever have. Love you @jamesjordan1978."

James, who is a professional ballroom dancer, also wished his wife a happy anniversary on Twitter, quipping: "HAPPY 12th ANNIVERSARY to the beautiful @The_OlaJordan. I still wake up every day and can't quite believe how lucky you are to be with me...."

"And one more thing @The_OlaJordan I LOVE YOU!!!!" he added.

James, 37, also shared a throwback photo on Instagram, of himself and Ola performing on Strictly in a previous series for "Wedding Week". "My BEST moment ever on Strictly #wedding #olajordan #anniversary," he wrote.

The couple received a flurry of congratulatory messages from their fans online, with several sharing their own photo collages of the lovebirds through the years.

Ola, 33, first starred on Strictly during the show's fourth series in 2006. The vivacious blonde has previously said that she will quit the BBC One show when she and James decide to start a family, in the next few years.

Ola has said she will leave Strictly when she and James decide to start a family

"I know my clock is ticking. I'm 32 now," Ola told The Mirror last year. "If I had a baby I think it would be unfair to leave it with James or someone else. That's how I feel. Strictly is different from doing a normal job, a nine to five. But I also wanted to be the first female pro dancer to last for ten years."

James added that he is resigned to being an "old dad", however he says they are in a much better position to raise a child now than when they were younger.

"I'm 37 now. My dad was 27 when he had me," said James. "However, as I said to Ola, all I had when I was 27 was debt. We had nothing. Financially we're in a much better position to have children now which makes it easier, whatever anyone says."
