Eva Longoria has admitted that while she is overjoyed about her surprise proposal from partner Jose Antonio Baston, she isn't in any rush to walk down the aisle. The Desperate Housewives star opened up about her engagement during an appearance on Today on Monday, admitting that when she does tie the knot, it is set to be a "big fat Mexican wedding."
"We haven't even discussed it," Eva said of her wedding plans. "I mean, I'm still in the glow of engagement, and it was such a surprise. It was in Dubai and it was in the desert. We're still absorbing that moment.
"I'm still applauding him for how beautiful and amazing it was, and then we'll talk about the big fat Mexican wedding."

The 40-year-old also enthused about her handsome fiancée, telling the host: "He's amazing, he's gorgeous and really the kindest human being I've ever met. He's really private, so I never talk about him!"
She continued: "I want to yell from the highest mountaintop about everything that goes on with us because I'm so happy and excited to be with a person as kind as Pepe is.
"He is probably one of the first men I've dated that has been older and established and, basically, a grown up. It's so nice to be arm in arm with someone who is your equal."
The couple announced their engagement in December
Jose proposed to Eva during a trip to Dubai for the Global Gift Gala at the Dubai International Film Festival. After being presented with a stunning ruby and diamond encrusted engagement ring, Eva couldn't wait to share the news on Instagram with a photo of the couple kissing.
"Ummmm so this happened… #Engaged #Dubai #Happiness," Eva wrote.
The couple later staged a second proposal during a romantic trip to India, with José getting down on one knee for the second time in front of the Taj Mahal in Agra.
Eva began dating the president of Televisa, Latin America's largest media company, in 2013.
