Rupert Murdoch and Jerry Hall have announced they are engaged after a whirlwind four-month romance. The media mogul and former model broke the happy news on Monday in the births, marriages and deaths section of the Times newspaper, which is owned by his News Corporation company.
It will be the fourth marriage for Rupert, 84, and the first for 59-year-old Jerry. The blonde beauty wed Mick Jagger in an unofficial Hindu ceremony in Bali, but their marriage was declared invalid in 1999.

The engagement took place over the weekend in Los Angeles, Rupert's spokesman said, meaning he may have popped the question ahead of the Golden Globes, where they were pictured on Sunday.
"They have loved these past months together," the spokesman said, adding that they were "thrilled to be getting married and excited about their future".
According to the Times, the pair met late last summer after being introduced by one of the mogul's sisters and his niece in his native Australia. They made their relationship public in October when they appeared together at the Rugby World Cup Final in London.

The engagement announcement in the paper reads: "Mr Rupert Murdoch, father of Prudence, Elisabeth, Lachlan, James, Grace and Chloe Murdoch, and Miss Jerry Hall, mother of Elizabeth, James, Georgia and Gabriel Jagger, are delighted to announce their engagement."
Between them, the pair have ten children. Jerry had four children with Rolling Stones frontman Mick, with whom she was with 23 years, while Rupert has six children from his three previous marriages.
He split with his third wife, Wendi Deng Murdoch, in 2013 after 14 years. Prior to that, he was married to Anna Torv, a journalist. His first marriage was to Australian, Patricia Booker.
