Surprisingly, given her beauty and statuesque physique, this photo session to present the new Atelier Pronovias 2017 collection was her first-ever modelling assignment. During the shoot Katherine opened up about her fascination with the topic of body image.
"The most important thing that I've learnt is that the perfect body doesn't exist," she said. "Women are under a lot of pressure to look a certain way. Now in the media we are making an effort to show women with different types of physique.
"The aim is to give confidence to future generations, so that they grow up feeling more comfortable in their own skin –knowing that, regardless of looks, they are beautiful."
"I'm a woman with curves and I think these dresses are very flattering and pretty for women of all shapes," said Katherine, adding that she'll "definitely call Pronovias" when she gets married in the future.
"I've loved putting on these dresses, they're amazing. They fit me perfectly, like a glove," she said.
