Lauren's wedding dress
Lauren wore a stunning mermaid gown designed by Dolce & Gabbana; it features a "high-necked silhouette, finished with 180 silk chiffon-covered priest buttons and a tulle-and-lace veil, inspired by the one Sophia Loren wore in the 1958 film Houseboat."
She paired the look with a classic white veil.
"It went from 'I want a simple, sexy modern dress' to 'I want something that evokes a moment,' and where I am right now," she told Vogue.
Stylists behind the scenes
Lauren's hair was styled by her longtime friend and hairstylist Rick Henry, while make-up artist Laura Ann Mele gave her a glowing and gorgeous face.

Unexpected gown design
Vogue has shared all the details of how Lauren picked her dress, revealing that she met with Domenico Dolce in New York to start crafting her dream gown over 18 months ago.
Lauren also revealed that this would be the first formal dress she has ever worn that does not show off her decolletage.
"It is a departure from what people expect," she said, "from what I expect—but it’s very much me."

Have you seen the 1958 American romantic comedy film that inspired Lauren's dress?
Houseboat was directed by Melville Shavelson, and starred Sophia and Cary Grant, as a widowed lawyer who moves his three children and their new nanny (Sophia) to a houseboat in the country.

Wedding guests were greated with special goody bags in their hotel rooms ahead of the nuptials. As per Vogue, each included a sampling of Venetian fare. During the reception, men were offered Vibi Venezia blue velvet Venetian slippers, while the ladies received plush, black open-toe slippers from Amazon
Harry's Bar
The newlyweds were photographed leaving Harry's Bar restaurant on Saturday. Lauren looked effortlessly chic in a black summer dress paired with a wide-brimmed hat and a white crocodile-effect handbag. Meanwhile, Jeff donned a brown ensemble with stylish aviator sunglasses.

As Jeff and Lauren's wedding celebrations begin to wind down, celebrities have been spotted leaving Venice including Kim and Khloe Kardashian.
The special day continued on until 3am, according to our reporter on the ground Isabelle Casey, with fireworks exploding over the island.
The morning after, the Amazon founder, 61, and Lauren, a former news anchor, 55, joined friends at the iconic Harry's Bar for lunch, including Sydney Sweeney and Orlando Bloom.
