The new parents looked relaxed and content as they strolled along the sandy shore in Miami, before finding a spot to settle down for the day. Surrounded by their entourage, the family set up a tent to shade little Eric from the Florida sun. Lauren, 37, was pictured holding her newborn close to her chest as she lay back and rested on a lounger with Simon by her side. The new mother opted for a loose-fitting, sheer patterned kaftan and looked effortlessly cool in dark shades and minimal make up. She cradled Eric close to her as she bottle-fed him and put him down for a nap. The adorable tot was dressed in a navy babygro and floppy white hat. He slept soundly throughout the day, oblivious to his parents' family and friends who had gathered around to coo over him. Lauren's parents Steven and Carole Davis joined the group, while Simon's two Yorkshire terriers Squiddly and Diddly were also included in the action. Simon and Lauren enjoyed a moment to themselves as they basked in the shade and watched over baby Eric who lay at their side. Lauren leant into her beau as the pair chatted and whiled away the afternoon. While the brunette beauty stayed by Eric's side and read on her e-reader, Simon, 54, took his dogs for a walk along the beach. Wearing Bermuda shorts and his trademark round sunglasses, Simon soaked up the rays and scooped up his canine friends as he waded into the waves. The X Factor judge only took a few steps before he was approached by a group of fans who stopped him to have their photos taken. Simon willingly obliged, posing for photos with bikini-clad girls. Baby Eric, who was born on Valentine's Day in New York City, is already growing up in the spotlight. Shortly after Eric's birth, Simon couldn't hide his pride and shared photos of the newborn on his Twitter account. "I never knew how much love and pride I would feel," wrote Simon, alongside three adorable black and white shots. "Now you can see how very handsome little Eric is."
