Beyoncé and Jay Z show courtside affection at basketball game

Beyoncé and Jay Z looked more in love than ever as they cheered on their favourite basketball team in New York.

The Drunk in Love singer has just wrapped her Mrs Carter Tour around the world and looked delighted to be enjoying some down time with her husband.

Wearing a blue and black patterned bodycon dress and a long blazer, Beyoncé, 32, cosied up to her basketball fan husband. Compared to her sleek hairstyles on tour, Beyoncé left her blonde curls loose and topped off her look with an edgy green hat.

The mother-of-one looked completely relaxed on her casual date night, holding a wine glass in one hand and a red lollipop in the other. Beyoncé may have been given special treatment as she was allowed to sip from a glass courtside, while most spectators use plastic cups.

One year ago Jay Z announced that he was selling his share of the Brooklyn Nets, in order to launch his own sports agency and represent his own sporting clients under Roc Nation Sports. "My job as an owner is over but as a fan it has just begun," Jay Z said in a statement at the time. "I'm a Brooklyn Net forever."

On the other side of the country, meanwhile, Nicole Richie and her husband Joel Madden were enjoying their own basketball game in Los Angeles.

The television personality, 32, was hard to miss with her bright purple dyed hair sweeped in a neat bun with side plaits. Nicole looked casual for the game, wearing an all-black outfit with gold shoes.
