A medical examiner's office has confirmed the cause of Bobbi Kristina Brown's death – on what would have been her 23rd birthday. The tragic star died from a combination of drowning and drug intoxication. The manner of her death remains undetermined.
Bobbi Kristina's autopsy information had been sealed by a court order, but it was released on Friday after a judge in Atlanta granted a media request to unseal it.

The findings shed some light on what happened to Bobbi Kristina on the day she was found unresponsive in her bathtub in January 2015.
The daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was just 22 when she passed away last July, nearly six months after she was found in her Atlanta townhouse. She spent her final days in a hospice, surrounded by her loved ones.
Meanwhile, her 20-year-old boyfriend Nick Gordon, who was raised as Whitney's son but never adopted, is still in the middle of a legal battle with her family.

A wrongful death lawsuit brought against the 20-year-old by court-appointed conservator Medelia Hargrove alleges that Bobbi Kristina "died due to a violent altercation with the defendant", and that he "injected her with a toxic mixture". Nick's lawyers have strenuously denied the claims, describing them as "meritless and slanderous".
Just last month, Bobbi Kristina’s best friend and former roommate Mason Whitaker opened up about his heartache to People.
One year after Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive at home, he admitted: "Not a day goes by that I don't think about her and the amazing influence she had on my life.
"Her vibrant spirit will live on forever. It devastates me to think the world won't be able to experience the amazing person she was."
