Zayn Malik has been charged with four criminal offenses of harassment after allegations he verbally attacked Gigi Hadid and "struck" her mother Yolanda.

The former One Direction singerpled no contest and has been fined and placed on 90 days probation for each count, totaling 360 days. Court documents seen by TMZ reveal he must complete an anger management class and a domestic violence program. He must have no contact with Yolanda or the security guard who was in the home at the time.

The charges come after he denied "striking" Yolanda and alleged that "a family member of [Gigi's] entered our home".
"In an effort to protect that space for [my daughter] I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner's who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago," he shared.

He continued: "This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been 'leaked' to the press."
According to court documents reported by TMZ, Zayn was at his home on 29 September in Pennsylvania when Yolanda entered the property.
They alleged he "shoved [Yolanda] into a dresser causing mental anguish and physical pain". Zayn denies any physical contact.
The singer also allegedly harassed Gigi, screaming over the phone to her: "Strap on some [expletive] balls and defend your partner against your [expletive] mother in my house."
There was a security guard on hand, and Zayn reportedly screamed: "Get the [expletive] out of my [expletive] house, copper."

He also allegedly tried to attack the guard.
Gigi and Zayn are notoriously private about their life as new parents and only occasionally take to Instagram to share photos of their 13-month-old.
Various publications have reported they have since split since the altercation.
