It's a big night for Hollywood as anticipation mounts for the Oscars, with many stars undoubtedly carrying out their own pre-award show rituals to prepare for the big night.
One such star is Nicole Kidman, who has revealed that her pre-Oscars ritual is a little more grounded than perhaps a facial or a massage.

"This is crazy but I will go to church in the morning,” she told Variety in an interview at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where she was attending the star-studded Chanel and Charles Finch pre-Oscars dinner.
"We'll be squeezing it in… It just centers me. It's what I do on a Sunday," she admitted.
Nicole's two youngest daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15, who she shares with her husband Keith Urban, joined their mum at the Chanel dinner, both donning white Chanel that matched Nicole's shirt-and-skirt look.
© WireImageWhile her girls attended the event, Nicole said she will be going solo when it comes to the Academy Awards. “No, it's a Sunday night,” she said. “They're on spring break, but we'll all be sort of just tucking ourselves in, go home, have a bath and go to bed.”
But the Oscars are famous for their glitzy after-parties, and the actress added: “I may go out to a party or two… I should go out.”
A mother-daughter Met Gala appearance
While Nicole's daughters will be sitting this particular awards show out, the actress did reveal that 17-year-old Sunday will be joining her at the Met Gala, which is set to take place on 4 May.
"This is – I think it's the third time I've co-chaired – but to do it now? I'm so, so happy, and my daughter Sunday will be coming," she said on the Las Culturistas podcast.

Alongside Sunday and Faith, Nicole also shares her two eldest children, Bella, 33, and Connor, 31, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.

It's no surprise that Nicole is gravitating towards her usual Sunday routine, as the Babygirl actress is set to present an award at the ceremony alongside other names including Channing Tatum, Pedro Pascal, Jimmy Kimmel, Sigourney Weaver, Rose Byrne and Delroy Lindo.
