Summer is upon us, and that means many of our favourite stars have jetted off on their family holidays.
David Tennant and his wife Georgia have taken "almost all" their brood on an exciting trip to Disneyland Paris, documenting their fabulous time away with a series of rare family photos on Tuesday.
Rivals star David and his wife of 14-years were photographed with four of their five children, Olive, 15, Wilfred, 13, Doris, 11 and Birdie, six, whose faces were covered to protect their privacy as they posed outside of Cinderella's famous castle.
The only absent Tennant sibling was Georgia and David's 24-year-old son, Ty, who Georgia welcomed in 2002, and who was legally adopted by the Doctor Who star in 2011.
"The most magical time at @disneylandparis with (almost all of) the gang. I was lucky enough to go to the same park in 1992 (oh so young), and I can confirm it’s even better than now than it was then," Georgia wrote in the caption.
"The rides were beyond epic (though 'Pirates of the Caribbean' will always reign supreme; 'Frozen Ever After' is giving it a run for its money), the food was extensive, and our #glutenfree needs were met with aplomb (shout out in particular to Chez Remy) whilst every staff/cast member we encountered was perfection.
"Thank you @disneylandparis for giving us the cool points for this summer. We will be back ASAP #adgifted #glutenfree #disneymom #addingthathashtagtoannoytheteens."
Other photographs showed the excitable group as they mooched around the park, a photo of the famous husband and wife duo, as well as a snap of youngest Birdie performing a rather impressive cartwheel while rocking a pair of Micky Mouse ears.
David's parenting confession
If one thing is for sure, it's that David and Georgia couldn't be more dedicated parents. Last year, the Harry Potter actor reflected on how his experiences growing up have informed his parenting style.
Talking on their podcast, David said: "My mum and dad were very loving. But it was never very expressed. And it was expressed [in] their presence and their actions and their consistency, but not particularly tactile. I don’t remember us as a family saying, 'I love you' to each other," he said.
