Lacey Turner, 38, is back on screens on Saturday like fans have never seen her before.
The EastEnders star has swapped Walford for the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom, where she's competing for the Glitter Ball against this year's hopeful stars, including singer Delta Goodrem and celebrity hairstylist Christ Appleton. Lacey is dancing with seasoned professional Vito Coppola.
"I’m nearly 40 and I want to start doing things I’m scared of," she said in a recent interview with Prima. "I want to go out of my comfort zone and push myself to see what I’m capable of."

"I'm really close with my sisters," Lacey told New! magazine in 2021, as per The Mirror. "We speak every day."

Lacey's younger sister, Daisy, 36, was on a different soap opera back in the 2010s. Soap fans might remember her for playing Doug Carter's girlfriend Rebecca Massey on Hollyoaks. Daisy appeared on the popular Channel 4 drama for nine episodes. But according to her IMDb page, she hasn't appeared in anything since.
"I was at home with my mum and sisters when I got the call to say I'd got the part. Lacey said if I need her, she is there," Daisy said in a previous interview. "I suppose there is a bit of pressure because she is very good at what she does. She has done it for years and I am just starting out."
Daisy reportedly once admitted she didn't tell Channel 4 bosses who her famous sister was. "It would be embarrassing to walk into an audition and say that," she said in a 2011 interview, via Liverpool Echo.
"Every time I went to an audition, I never mentioned Lacey, because that would make me sound stupid. I am used to Lacey being in a soap so people are bound to ask about her. But this is something I want to do on my own."
These days, Daisy stays out of the limelight and seems to have stepped away from acting. While her Instagram is set to private, she occasionally makes a rare appearance on her sister Lacey's social media.

Daisy and Lacey's younger sister, Lily, has a very special connection to her big sister. Lily, who used her mother's maiden name Harvey, got her start in acting at the age of nine when she landed the role of Shenice Quinn on EastEnders in 2011.
"All three of us do it. Lacey and I acted as kids. Our mum, Bev, let us do everything – singing, dancing and acting," Lily's sister Daisy once said.
EastEnders executive producer Bryan Kirkwood previously told PA that Lily got the part "entirely on her own merit".
"The truth of it is I didn't know she was Lacey's sister until after I said she was the girl I wanted to cast," he explained.
"Whether by accident or design I sat down and watched a tape of a very talented young girl and it was only after we decided that I was told it was Lacey's sister. So it was complete accident."
Like Lacey, Lily appears to have kept up with acting. In 2025, she appeared as Freya in the film Finding My Voice, and most recently starred in the short film For the Love of Murder.
