Mark and Michelle had an 'M&M' cocktail at their wedding

The new Mr and Mrs Wright made sure they put their stamp on the drinks list – and on one cocktail in particular. The pair, who tied the knot in the beautiful surrounds of Hengrave Hall on Sunday 24 May, had their own cocktail shaken and stirred especially for them, and they named it appropriately: "The M&M".

HELLO!, who was invited exclusively to the wedding, reports that Mark and Michelle's cocktail was made of "Makers Mark whisky, blended with Baileys and cream, topped with a M&M foam" and served in recipients decked out for the bash.

Other cocktails on the list included classics such as the Mojito, Cosmopolitan, and Whisky McRee, along with sweet tipples Fresh Fruit Bramble, Coconut Caiprissima, and Mango Limonata.

When it came to the rest of the menu, the couple made sure they honoured Michelle's Greater Manchester roots and Mark's Essex heritage, with "a real traditional northern and southern dish" being served: a choice of fish and chips with mushy peas, or pie, mash and liquor.

The trio of sweet treats for dessert hinted at the couple's sense of fun, with delights such as sugarcoated doughnuts, ice cream with hundreds and thousands, lime jelly with raspberry marshmallow and chocolate brownie with berries and chocolate sauce.

The groom made sure his speech packed a punch, by starting by inviting all guests to join him in a shot of tequila.

"I want to start with a little toast – and you know what's coming," said Mark. "This is going to be the Wright wedding party that's not going to stop."

The TV and radio presenter and his new actress wife partied into the night with their 200 guests at a 16th-century Tudor mansion in Suffolk before jetting off to the Maldives.
