Autumn girlies are rejoicing that the weather is cooler and the darker tones are creeping back into the wardrobe. The Princess of Wales is proving to be the poster girl for this transitional period, stepping out on Thursday sporting a chocolate brown trench coat, a green turtleneck jumper and dark jeans.
Princess Kate looked effortlessly chic in her autumn ensemble for her engagement on the Isle of Bute alongside her husband Prince William.

Prince William stepped up first, missed his first shot but connected with the second attempt.
Kate was cheered onto the pitch by the crowd but she followed suit and missed at first, but after advised she take one step up to the ball rather than a run, Kate struck the ball cleanly.
Kate looked very pleased as she struck the ball with the traditional stick.
Kate came face-to-face with an influencer called Andy 'The Highlander' after and admitted: "I was a bit worried I was going to take someone’s teeth out."

Ahead of the participation, when the game was being explained to them, William said: “We both played hockey at St Andrews and seen shinty but not played. It looks a bit bruising."

The Prince and Princess of Wales, known in Scotland as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, arrived by ferry for their very first visit to the Isle of Bute. They are present to celebrate local community initiatives. The royals stopped by the Bute Shinty Club where they learnt how the sporting venue serves as a vital social hub for residents. The club was founded in 1946 and is run by volunteers who are mainly ex-players. The journey builds on their ongoing engagement with Scottish island life, following their visits to Iona and Mull last year.
We often see Princess Kate in the quintessentially British brand, Burberry, and she has now established quite the collection of coats and jackets. Earlier in the year, she sported a camel-hued coat - a classic look for an outing in Winchester. Back in 2023, she wore a quilted jacket, also from the brand.
