Elizabeth Hurley made an appearance at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation Hot Pink Party at The Glasshouse in New York City on Tuesday evening, stepping out in an apt pink look for the occasion.
The Austin Powers actress, 60, opted for a gorgeous lace gown featuring a ruffle detail that cascaded down from the waist. The garment also featured sheer puffed sleeves, and the diamantes added an extra touch of femininity to the already girly look. Appliqué flowers adorned the waist and mermaid skirt, and her styling was pure perfection.

Elizabeth added gold open-toe heels for added height, as well as silver and diamond jewellery. Her brunette locks were styled in loose, glossy waves, and her makeup look featured a rosy pink lip. Notably absent was her partner, Billy Ray Cyrus, but her son, Damian, 24, joined his mother for the occasion, rocking leather pants and a velvet suit jacket.

"This evening, we will be raising vital funds for life-saving breast cancer research - wish us luck! I’ll keep you updated," Elizabeth captioned a video on Instagram of her on her way to the event.

We asked fashion stylist Leanne Jones, who trained at the London College of Style, to analyse Elizabeth's look. "Ever since her iconic Versace safety pin moment in the 90s, Elizabeth Hurley has been a true fashion icon and pioneer of the statement dress. This look feels incredibly feminine and elegant, and I love that she chose such a soft, subtle shade of pink - a thoughtful nod to the breast cancer cause the event was supporting," she explains.

Of her styling choice, the fashion expert added: "The gown appears to be from the NEDO by Nedret Taciroğlu collection, a Turkish designer she has turned to before, including for a gold gown at a women’s leadership event in 2019 and another romantic floral design worn to a Breast Cancer Research Foundation event last year."
It's also a designer that Leanne says is increasingly entering celebrity consciousness. "NEDO's profile is also continuing to rise internationally. Alongside Elizabeth, the brand has dressed stars including Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez and Heidi Klum," she says. "I also love the story behind the brand - Nedret Taciroğlu designs many of the pieces alongside her daughter, which feels especially fitting given Liz’s famously close relationship with her son, Damian Hurley. There’s a lovely sense of synergy there."
It came after Elizabeth, along with her country music star beau, attended The Olivier Awards together on 12 April. The Bedazzled star rocked a showstopping Zuhair Murad gown featuring a plunge wrap top, long sleeves, and an asymmetrical skirt.
