On Thursday, Prime Minister Andy Burnham and his fabulously well-dressed wife Marie-France Van-Heel welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron to Number 10 Downing Street.
The foursome looked in great spirits as they posed in front of the famous black door, and all eyes were on the 56-year-old marketing executive, who wowed onlookers in chic black trousers with a large flared hem and cream high-heeled shoes.
Styling to perfection, she added a sleek satin top with asymmetric knotted detail at the shoulder, and a trio of gold earrings, finishing with a slick of plum lipstick.
Marie's stylish week
A day earlier, at a special official event alongside the King and Queen, Marie looked resplendent in a beautiful cream dress by luxury store Reiss. Known as the 'Millie Pleated Midi Dress', the gown featured long sleeves, a billowing pleated skirt and a plunging V-neckline.
Completing her look, the blonde wore the same pair of pointed-toe heels in ivory, and the Cambridge alumna wore her platinum tresses super sleek, with the ends lightly curled.
Stepping out in Victoria Beckham and M&S
In July, the politician's wife made an A-list sartorial choice as she arrived at Number 10 Downing Street to start her new life.
Marie slipped into a powder blue masterpiece by none other than the UK's own Victoria Beckham for her milestone day, which marked her husband's first as UK Prime Minister. The pastel gown featured dramatic puffed sleeves, an elegant V-neckline and a fishtail-style skirt. Marie completed her look with the pointed-toe heels of dreams that featured intricate white embroidery.
Showing she is partial to the great British high street as well as designer attire, that same month Marie was pictured appearing as a true summer vision in a sage green lace co-ord from Marks & Spencer. Her top and skirt combo had an intricate and eye-catching guipure lace overlay, perfectly capturing her vibrant style ethos. She paired the long-sleeved ensemble expertly with Boden cork wedges, a killer addition to the all-lace look.
