Hollywood star Nicole Kidman may be playing a free-spirited sorceress in Practical Magic 2, but it was her resplendent sense of style that has left us utterly spellbound on Friday.
The Australian-born star, 59, made a surprise appearance at a screening of her latest film in Sydney.
"You didn't think you'd have margaritas without me," the Babygirl said as she stepped out wearing an ivory satin-and-lace dress with vibrant coral floral embroidery from Erdem's Pre-Spring 2027 collection.
The ethereal gown featured a sheer lace panel from her décolletage to her waist, giving the neckline a dramatic plunge. The dress also came with a choker-style feature in the same soft satin that wrapped around Nicole's neck and cascaded behind her.
Nicole paired the romantic ensemble with matching coral red stilettos, the perfect way to accentuate its vibrant embroidery.
As for her glam for the evening, the Big Little Lies star wore her cascading strawberry-blonde tresses down with a stylish textured wave.
Nicole's bewitching red carpet wardrobe
During her press tour for Practical Magic 2, which Nicole stars in alongside fellow A-list actress Sandra Bullock, the Lioness actress has put on a stellar streak of red carpet looks.
One of our favourites has to be from the Los Angeles premiere on Monday, when Nicole slipped into a gothic black lace masterpiece by Versace.
The gown featured a soft scoop neckline and drop-waist skirt with soft pleats. As for accessories, the mother-of-two completed her look with a gossamer choker and matching stilettos.
She swapped her pristine waves from her appearance Down Under for a more tousled look, her long locks dramatically parted to one side.
Museum-worthy fashion archives
When it comes to her historic run of red carpet looks, Nicole admitted to W Magazine that she has kept all her iconic looks preciously away in boxes.
"I've saved all the red carpet dresses. I have them all beautifully boxed. They're museum pieces," she said. She also revealed that her kids have free rein over her closet: "They raid my wardrobe all the time. I'm like, 'Okay, what's mine is yours.' But I don't raid their closet, even though I'm like, 'Oh, that's cute.' But I'm not allowed to take anything. It's a one-way exchange."
However, despite her sartorial success under the glittering lights of the step and repeat, Nicole admitted she loves getting home and into her pyjamas after a night in front of the cameras.
"I want to get out, take my dress off and put my jammies on. It’s kind of like the opposite of Cinderella - I'm happy to go home and just go back to me." Nicole quipped elsewhere.
