Cindy Crawford's daughter Kaia Gerber with 'same supermodel DNA' showcases abs on the red carpet

Cindy Crawford's model daughter, Kaia Gerber, once again proved she's her famous mother's double on the red carpet in the most figure-flattering look. 

Kaia, 25, turned up the heat at Disney's Emmys after-party on 15 September in a tiny bra and skirt co-ord that showcased her toned arms and six-pack abs. The fashion model and actress strutted the red carpet in the white two-piece set which featured a structured underwire bra top and a matching A-line midi skirt with a wavy waistline. 

Kaia's hair was swept back in an elegant updo with a stray section perfectly framing her face. For her glam, the model kept a natural appearance with glossy lips and a radiant, bronzed complexion.

Kaia's stylish set was reminiscent of the lingerie-chic style popularised on the 90s runway. The 90s style was defined by slip dresses, exposed bra straps and corsets and daringly sheer fabric. As one of the most prevalent models of the decade, Cindy was at the forefront of the high-fashion underwear as outerwear trend in a plethora of sheer pieces and thigh-high stockings, such as the incredibly sheer bandeau top she wore on the runway for Todd Oldham in 1995.

Along with following in Cindy's footsteps as a runway star and inheriting her mum's taste for fashion, Kaia often draws comparisons to Cindy's supermodel looks with the same tousled brown hair and sharp facial features. 

"My goodness if Kaia Gerber doesn't look exactly like her mama Cindy Crawford without question," one person on X (formerly Twitter) noticed the uncanny resemblance between the two. 

Sharing a video of Kaia opening the Khaite spring/ summer 2027 show during New York Fashion Week on 12 September, one person said they "genuinely couldn't tell" if it was Kaia or Cindy for a second. "Same face. Same walk. Same supermodel DNA," they added.

Kaia addressed the comparisons recently, telling Yahoo Entertainment: "It’s an honour when people tell me I look like my mom. I wish I did."

"I think, even on my best days, I’m not even close. But like, it means so much to me."

She continued: "I think she’s just the most beautiful woman inside and out. And so if there’s any way that I remind anyone of her, it’s just, like, the largest compliment."
