and
Cara Delevingneproved they are the ultimate British fashion icons in the new campaign for Burberry fragrance
My Burberrywhich was revealed on Tuesday. It is the first time that the two supermodels have appeared on camera together, and the black and white images shot by
Mario Testinofor the iconic British fashion house don't disappoint.
Posing in the brand's iconic trench coats,
the pair are the epitome of effortless beautywith tousled blonde hair and Burberry's signature nude makeup. The campaign also includes a video of Kate and Cara sharing a single trench coat, looking effortlessly cool as they spritz each other with the fragrance pose for the camera. Burberry had
previously teased fans with an image of the supermodel duoon their Instagram account
back in March. "Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne shot by @MarioTestino – behind the scenes of a new #Burberry fragrance campaign coming later this year," they captioned the shot.
The British brand has a particularly close relationship with Kate who has posed in its iconic trench coats alongside Lizzie Jagger, Stella Tennant and Liberty Ross, however
it was the first time that she had worked with Cara. The shoot was particularly exciting for Cara who has previously admitted that Kate was one of her modelling icons. "I was such a tomboy," she said about her initial lack of interest in modelling. "But
Kate Moss, I just knew exactly who she was – she was the face, she was the icon." The young socialite also revealed that Kate has become one of her friends and mentors. "She saw me before the Louis Vuitton show at 3am, when I was being painted by people to cover the scabs," she said in an interview last year. "She said, 'This is horrible! Why is this happening? I need to help you.' She got me a doctor that afternoon.
Kate gives really good advice."
